Portrait in concert and pre-CD release

Concert with music by Klaverdal. Performance of eyes like a flame of fire with Annie Lönngren on recorder, a home for demons with Johan Westerberg and Christian Ekstedt and first performance of The Sacred Family with the string quartet Vindla.

The music is from the CD ”Revelations” that will be released on C-Y contemporary very soon, containing the revelation pieces – chamber music for few instruments and computer/electronics thematically derived from the book of revelation and the mentioned string quartet. News on the actual release will be posted soon!

First performance of EAM-piece/Music installation du som gick före oss on Swedish Psalm 74. The performance is a part of the night service ”Creation” using improvised music on texts by Olof Hartman.

The piece is a commission from Lunds Domkyrkoförsamling/Lunds Stift.

Opening of sound installations in Lund

Opening of three permanent sound installations commissioned by the hospital. The pieces are part of a project called ”Sinnesupplevelser” (approx. ”Exeriences of your Senses”) The titles are: Elefantpiano/Elephant piano, Tecknad spegel/Drawn mirror and Sommar/Summer.

Release of new CD with music for tuba

”Release the Electric tuba”

Release of new CD with Kjetil Myklebust, ”Electric Tuba” containing the piece I heard behind me a loud voice. The CD also contains small interludes by Klaverdal.

Also first performance of the piece during the release, as well as performance of drone-installation by I.D.A.S. with Klaverdal on laptop!

Performance of ”Dual Chant”

Dual Chant for violin and computer is performed by Björn Kleiman (violin) at a concert with Swedish music. Also, an artfilm inspired from the music by Pekka Persson is screened simultaneously, as well as other video works by tromlov.

Other music in the concert is composed by Larsson Gothe, de Frumerie, Stenhammar and others.

First performance of oratory Levande Vatten (Living Water)

Levande Vatten (Living Water), first performance of the oratory commissioned by the Church of Sweden on the theme of baptism. Lyrics especially written to the piece by acclaimed writer and poet Christine Falkenland.
Performed by the mixed choir Kirsebergs Kammarsångare, girls choirs Körmitz and Karamellerna from Lund Cultural school and Karamellerna from Lunds domkyrka, percussion duo with Johan Westerberg and Christian Ekstedt with Alexander Einarsson conducting.
The commission was also awarded a grant from the Cultural board of the Swedish Church in 2008.
