First performance of EAM-piece/Music installation du som gick före oss on Swedish Psalm 74. The performance is a part of the night service ”Creation” using improvised music on texts by Olof Hartman.

The piece is a commission from Lunds Domkyrkoförsamling/Lunds Stift.

Aestival Solstice performed in Malmö

Songs of Insanity in Malmö

Performance of the performance opera Songs of Insanity in collaboration with singer Lisa Hansson. The opera evolves around insanity among women both during the 1800s and today, using BelCanto operas as well as a diary from a young Schizofrenic woman.

Levande Vatten (Living Water), first performance of the oratory commissioned by the Church of Sweden on the theme of baptism. Lyrics especially written to the piece by acclaimed writer and poet Christine Falkenland.
Performed by the mixed choir Kirsebergs Kammarsångare, girls choirs Körmitz and Karamellerna from Lund Cultural school and Karamellerna from Lunds domkyrka, percussion duo with Johan Westerberg and Christian Ekstedt with Alexander Einarsson conducting.
The commission was also awarded a grant from the Cultural board of the Swedish Church in 2008.

Performance of two pieces with percussion in Malmö

Johan Westerberg and Per Andreasson perform the piece a home for demons for percussion and computer at the Classic Lounge concert series in Malmö. The piece is written for the unusual very small percussion setup of drum sticks and a piece of wood. 

Per Ivarsson (trumpet) and Johan Westerberg (percussion) will also perform the piece and then I saw at the same concert. The two pieces will also be recorded for a future CD release.
