Release of new CD with music for chamber ensemble

Release of the CD ”Sounding Images” with the Ensemble for New Music and Anna Rombach (conducting). The CD contains the piece And when I turned composed directly for ENM and had its première during spring 2009.

First performance of ”He fell to the ground” at Haydn celebration

First performance of He fell to the ground for chamber orchestra, celebrating Haydn. The piece draws inspiration from Haydns 103rd symphony, and is composed on commission to Malmö Kammarorkester (Malmö Chamber orchestra), conducted by Alexander Einarsson.

In the same concert several electronic pieces will be performed, as well as versions of all 104 symphonies by Haydn.

The concert will also be recorded for later broadcast of Swedish Radio P2

Performance of ”Dual Chant”

Dual Chant for violin and computer is performed by Björn Kleiman (violin) at a concert with Swedish music. Also, an artfilm inspired from the music by Pekka Persson is screened simultaneously, as well as other video works by tromlov.

Other music in the concert is composed by Larsson Gothe, de Frumerie, Stenhammar and others.

Levande Vatten (Living Water), first performance of the oratory commissioned by the Church of Sweden on the theme of baptism. Lyrics especially written to the piece by acclaimed writer and poet Christine Falkenland.
Performed by the mixed choir Kirsebergs Kammarsångare, girls choirs Körmitz and Karamellerna from Lund Cultural school and Karamellerna from Lunds domkyrka, percussion duo with Johan Westerberg and Christian Ekstedt with Alexander Einarsson conducting.
The commission was also awarded a grant from the Cultural board of the Swedish Church in 2008.
